Proposed Mentor zoning change could lead to Dunkin Donuts store in industrial district

Mentor Planning Commission this week will review a change to the zoning code that would make way for a potential eatery with drive-through in an industrial area.

“The commission has been requested to consider and make recommendation related to an amendment to the (Manufacturing Industrial Park) district regulations that would allow for drive-in and drive-through facilities upon the issuance of a conditional-use permit,” Assistant Law Director Joseph Szeman said in a May 17 memo to members.
